March is Women’s History Month, and this year’s theme is “Women Inspiring Innovation Through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.” The United States certainly has a great share of inspiring women of this sort. Through the years, this country has been transformed by the energy and the hard work of females who helped turn it into what it is today. So what better way to celebrate Women’s History Month than to revisit a few of those impressive women and remember their legacy? Below are just five such outstanding ladies.

Television and film writer, producer, playwright and poet Kathleen McGhee-Anderson lives partially in Venice and the other time in Oak Bluffs, Mass. Her craft has been appreciated by most through her work in TV shows like “Little House on the Prairie,” “The Cosby Show,” “Touched by An Angel” and “Lincoln Heights.” She has received multiple awards and recognitions, including an honorary doctorate from Spelman College. This interview and discussion will let the audience travel through the three decades of her work in the entertainment industry and imagine what is yet to come.
